Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that quarterback Deshaun Watson is regarded as day-to-day due to a rotator cuff contusion.
Monday was not practice day for him, so his status is deemed to be established.
Kevin Stefanski, the head coach of the Browns, told reporters, “I know it’s a broken record, but really just treat it day by day.”.

After suffering a shoulder injury during a running play in a Sept. 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Watson was unanticipatedly sidelined. 24 victory over the Titans of Tennessee. He finished the game and led the team in passing for 289 yards and two touchdowns.
Prior to Week 4, the 28-year-old had limited practice time, but the Ravens anticipated he would play before deciding against it.

Along with rushing for 83 yards and one touchdown, he has completed 63.7% of his passes for 678 yards and four touchdowns against two interceptions.
Watson’s replacement in Week 4 was Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a UCLA product selected in the fifth round of 2023.
In addition to throwing three interceptions, he completed 19 of 36 passes for 121 yards.
Thompson-Robinson would be expected to start against one of the NFL’s most formidable defenses if Watson is unable to suit up against the 49ers.
