Philadelphia Eagles fans are not having a great end to 2023. The Eagles lost in a stunner to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17. They’re now tied with the Dallas Cowboys at 11-5 heading into Week 18. The Cowboys would win the NFC East if both teams win next week because they have a better record in the conference.
Some Eagles fans think the NFL helped the Cowboys slide into the NFC East lead and the NFC’s second seed by allowing Dallas to defeat the Detroit Lions on Saturday via a controversial call. (Although the Eagles didn’t help themselves by losing to Arizona.)
The Lions were screwed out of a two-point conversion with 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter, with the Cowboys leading 21-20. An official mixed-up which Detroit offensive tackle was reporting as an eligible wide receiver and threw a penalty that cost the Lions two game-winning points.
Lions players, coaches, and fans were fuming after losing to the Cowboys. The loss cost them the second seed in the NFC.

Things might be coming into focus considering the things on the line for both the Cowboys and Eagles this week. Cardinals had no benefit and lost prime draft position and gave a division rival the one seed. Both games impacted by NFL desired outcome and not the teams.
NFL has never looked this scripted. Cowboys won on a VERY bad call last night. VERY bad. And now the eagles lose on some questionable calls. They heavily interfered with Goedert on that last drive. And now the cowboys win the division. Shady stuff by the NFL.
