Caitlin Clark Sends Heartwarming Birthday Message to Iowa Teammate Kate Martin

Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 marks former Iowa Hawkeye and current Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin’s 24th birthday. 

Martin has quickly become a fan favorite for not only Aces fans, but anybody who watches the WNBA. 

After Martin was selected with the 18th overall pick by the Aces, she had to prove her worth in order to make the team. 

And Martin did so. In fact, she not only made the team, but carved out a role for herself on the court. 

Not to mention that her new teammates clearly adore her; which is proven by them pranking her with pink Hello Kitty backpacks and by pretending to leave her behind on the team bus.

Despite how much her Aces teammates adore her, Martin’s closest friendship still seems to be with Caitlin Clark.

And Clark sent a wholesome message to Martin for her birthday, which was shared on Clark’s Instagram story on Wednesday.

“Happy birthday to my right hand!!!! I miss you and love you endlessly” Clark wrote, along with a picture of her and Martin celebrating a postseason win while at Iowa.
