Wild Rumor Emerges On Social Media Claiming Rory Mcllroy’s Divorce Is The Result Of An Affair With Popular Female Golf Reporter.

After seven years of marriage together, Rory McIlroy filed for divorce from his wife, Erica.

In a statement, McIlroy’s public relations staff confirmed the divorce while explicitly stating that he would not be discussing it with the media

Not discussing the divorce with the media is a hot topic this week because a new rumor regarding Rory McIlroy’s divorce has surfaced online.

During the final round of the PGA Championship on Sunday, CBS Sports golf reporter Amanda Balionis became a topic of controversy due to rumors surrounding her alleged relationship with Rory McIlroy, which is believed to be a factor in his impending divorce.    Balionis, who is married to former NFL quarterback Bryn Renner, no longer seems to be wearing her wedding ring.   Her absence of the ring this year has prompted speculation about the state of her relationship at several prominent golf events.

Both McIlroy and Balionis have initiated legal proceedings to end their marriages.

Just before the PGA Championship, McIlroy filed paperwork in Florida stating that their marriage was beyond repair.

Stoll gave birth to their first child, Poppy, three years after getting married.

According to a report in The Sun, the World No.2 was last seen in good spirits with wife Erica at The Players Championship in March.

Before ending the marriage, Rory McIlroy was previously committed to another woman.

A decade ago, Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki suddenly ended their engagement.

McIlroy initially planned to marry Wozniacki, but he ultimately felt unprepared for the commitment of marriage.

Instead, he married Stoll in 2017. The couple first crossed paths when Stoll was employed by the PGA of America at the Medinah Ryder Cup in 2012.

Rory’s desire is to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible,” the statement read. “He won’t be making any further comment.”
