Shock as Super League club completes significant NRL signing.

Clubs like Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves, Hull FC, Hull KR, and Huddersfield Giants have all completed significant signings for 2024, but one club has made some real statement signings.

He joined the North Queensland Cowboys at age 21 and made his professional NRL debut that year.
The versatile player, who can play in the second row, third row, or as a prop, managed to keep his spot in the team after a full season, scoring 5 tries in 20 appearances.

He transferred to Newcastle Knights after four productive seasons.
Before joining St George Illawarra during the 2016 season, Tariq Sims made 27 appearances for the Knights.
With the Dragons of St. George Illawarra over the course of seven seasons, the Australian-born player amassed the most NRL games played with 123 total games played.

When Tariq Sims joined Melbourne for the 2023 season, he found his fourth NRL club at the age of 32. He appeared in 15 NRL games for the Storm and has now made 236 NRL appearances since 2011, amassing 44 tries over 13 seasons at the top level.

He competed for Fiji in the 2013 World Cup, making it to the semifinals.
Between 2018 and 2022, he was chosen six times by New South Wales for the States of Origin, winning three matches for the Blues.
