To those who doubt Shedeur, Deion Sanders has a message.

When USC played Colorado on Saturday, quarterback Caleb Williams appeared to be the best player on the field.
However, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders matched him arguably step for step.
To lead the Trojans to a 48-41 victory at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado, Williams, who is expected to be selected first overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, threw for 406 yards and six touchdowns.
With 371 passing yards and 4 touchdowns of his own, including two crucial TDs in the fourth quarter to give the Buffaloes a chance at a comeback, Sanders wasn’t far behind.
Despite the Buffaloes’ unsuccessful comeback attempt, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders was open about his son Shedeur’s improved level of play.
Shedeur was referred to as a consistent winner at all levels by Coach Prime. The senior Sanders also had a message for the Colorado QB’s skeptics, though he was speaking as Shedeur’s coach rather than his father.
The youngster “can just play,” said Sanders.
“I know a lot of people didn’t believe him and claimed I just pushed him into the starting position.
All of you should just look in the mirror and slap what you see, whatever they call nepotism.
“.
Shedeur Sanders has arguably performed better than most expected of him at the beginning of the season, despite Colorado’s consecutive losses. The 21-year-old has played in five games this season and thrown for 1,410 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He has also demonstrated for the Buffaloes that he can make cool decisions in crucial situations.
Next Saturday against Arizona State, Colorado will have the chance to end their two-game losing streak.
