Chiefs Release Injury Designations for Week 5 Game vs. Vikings

The Week 5 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis is rapidly approaching, but the team still has some injury-related decisions to make before kickoff.

Eight players who were listed on the team’s injury report took part fully in the final practice of the week, including rookie offensive tackle Wanya Morris despite having a hip injury.
As he recovers from an ankle sprain suffered in Week 2, linebacker Nick Bolton was only able to participate in limited activities for the third straight day.
Matt Dickerson, a backup defensive tackle, did not participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday but did so on Friday with some restrictions.
When it comes to Sunday’s game, all three of the aforementioned injured players have dubious qualifications.
The complete Chiefs breakdown is as follows:.

Regarding Dickerson, the 27-year-old interior defensive lineman is still getting better after dealing with a swollen knee earlier in the week.
In the event that he is unable to play in Week 5, Keondre Coburn, a rookie, and Neil Farrell might be counted on to fill in for him.
Bolton’s decision will likely be made by the end of the week, as defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo suggested on Thursday.
This is currently the case.
It’s encouraging for Morris’ chances of playing on Sunday that he was upgraded from limited to full to end the week.

Four Vikings players have been listed as questionable for the game on Sunday afternoon. Linebacker Marcus Davenport (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Friday, while linebacker Brian Asamoah (toe), safety Lewis Cine (hamstring), and quarterback Nick Mullens (back) all had limited participation.
Both safety Josh Metellus (shoulder) and center Garrett Bradbury (back) were fully active in Friday’s practice and are available for Sunday’s game. Jordan Hicks, Brian O’Neill, and Harrison Smith were all listed on the injury report with rest (not injury-related) descriptions, but they are all expected to be fully active in Week 5.
