For David Pastrnak, a star for the Bruins, Saturday was a night to remember.
Pastrnak scored again in the Bruins’ 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators, following up his two goals in Boston’s three-goal centennial season opener on Wednesday.
This goal was spectacular because the 10-year pro used an original tactic on a highlight-reel penalty shot.
Without a doubt, it was a stunner, but Pastrnak’s favorite part of the evening happened at TD Garden before the game started.
Pastrnak was met near the tunnel by his partner Rebecca and their four-month-old daughter Freya as the Bruins warmed up for their second game of the season. The three-time All-Star discussed the exchange with reporters after the game.
According to the group, Pastrnak told reporters, “That was very special.”.
