Steelers to sign CB from Chiefs’ practice squad, will either trade or cut Desmond King

According to reports, the Steelers will cut Desmond King or trade for CB Darius Rush, who was on the Chiefs’ practice squad.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are adjusting their secondary after just coming off of a bye week.
NFL Media reports that the team plans to sign cornerback and former Colts fifth-round pick Darius Rush from the Chiefs’ practice squad. In a related move, the Steelers reportedly informed veteran Desmond King that, barring a trade, they will release him.

The Chiefs on August 16 picked up the 6-2, 195-pound Rush off waivers.
30 hours following Indianapolis’ release of him. Rush, who has yet to participate in a regular-season game, finished his time at South Carolina with three interceptions, 15 pass breakups, a sack, and a forced fumble.
