“It’s been a fun ride, but the hype may be over soon,” Colorado College senior Deion Sanders.

The former Buffs point guard thinks Colorado is out of the postseason chase

The Colorado Buffaloes are in the middle of a big game heading into the final month of the college football season.
Deion Sanders knows it’s “time to go” and has been sending that message to his players all week.
Despite all the negative talk surrounding the Buffs following their double overtime loss to Stanford two weeks ago, the entire alumni base should have rallied behind Coach Prime heading into the postseason.
But it appears that not everyone associated with CU, including Chad Brown, is on Sanders’ side.
The former CU Hall of Fame broadcaster noted that Sanders and the Buffs need a few wins.
He went further and suggested that Colorado’s early season momentum may be lost.
“It’s been a fun ride, but from your perspective, you’ve got to have a W behind this to keep the momentum going,” Brown told USA Today’s Sports Seriously.
“Pay attention to the schedule…
Like Eyeballs Colorado…if I don’t think the Buffaloes deserve to be in this year’s event, they will all be eliminated. In our society we like to shake people up and tear them down.”

While Brown’s comments weren’t as negative as others, he was still skeptical and a little optimistic about the current state of the weeklong program. The former NFL vet’s career overlapped with Sanders’ Hall of Fame run in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Colorado landed in Los Angeles on Friday night.
They will make their final trip to the Rose Bowl before their game against the no.
23 UCLA tomorrow night.
It airs nationally on ABC at 7:30 p.m. and.
