Brown to 66 yards receiving, and Smith to just 51 yards total (inclusive of the 29-yard catch).
“I think you’d chock that up to a very good day when we hold that Eagles’ [high]-powered offense that’s been averaging 300 [yards] and you hold Jalen Hurts to 180 yards, less than 300 total yards,” said Parsons.
“You can say anything, but I felt like we did really well, but there were times in the game when it didn’t go in our favor.
” The stage is now set for a rematch in Week 14, when the Eagles visit AT&T Stadium, and Parsons is licking his lips for a chance at a rematch.
“When you have a game like that, Eagles and Cowboys, there’s nothing like it,” he said.
“We will know where we went wrong and where we encountered difficulties.
We will meet them again.
That is happiness.
Unlike the 49ers [during the regular season], we’ll see them again.
“We’re getting redemption in our house where we’ve been pretty dominant and it’s going to be exciting.
” And while Parsons hates losing, he’s willing to admit that if avoidable mistakes weren’t made at Lincoln Financial Field, he believes the Cowboys could have earned a 6-2 record and shared the NFC East lead.
“I feel like we have more confidence now,” the first-team All-Pro said.
“I feel like people invited us out, praised this Eagles team, and we made these people happy.
I’m not even going to add fuel to the fire.
We’ll see them again in [five] weeks.
“
