Toronto Maple Leafs latest update: Sheldon Keefe Is Going to Get Fired

The Toronto Maple Leafs kept the wrong personnel this season and it is costing them.
During his tenure as general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, fans either loved Kyle Duba or hated him, and there wasn’t much in between. But after 14 games, I can’t find a single fan who loves Brad Treliving.
It’s unfortunate that bad things continue to be written about a manager who has only been in office for a few months, but it’s pretty clear that his moves aren’t working. As a result, something must be changed quickly. The Leafs weren’t necessarily the best team in Dubas’ career to start his season, but they quickly reversed course and the moves seemed to be working. Whether it was firing Mike Babcock, demoting Joe Thornton instead of Michael Bunting, or trading up during the season to get more bullpen like Ilya Lubushkin, Noel Acciari or Luke Schenn, he made a move.
It’s only November 6th, and changes don’t usually happen until the NHL trade deadline, but something’s got to give.
When Babcock was fired, the date was November 20, 2019, so that could be an important date for Sheldon Keefe to be the first guy on the chopping block.

12.-24. In November, the Leafs fly to Sweden for two games, where I think the team will finally fire Keefe. They send Keefele a package and that gives the team a few days to digest the information and not have to deal with it in their hometown. While I hope Treliving and/or Shanahan are the ones who get fired, I’d be shocked if Keefe isn’t the first to lose his job.
What if Keefe gets fired?
Does it really make a difference? Is this the spark that team needs to turn John Klingberg into a respectable defensive back? Probably not.
Speaking of Klingberg, he needs to be cut. He is terrible and is no longer an NHL player. It was as predictable as it was embarrassing for the Leafs. It was a bug as soon as it was reported. The Toronto Maple Leafs need to make a huge trade. They certainly aren’t going to fix this team with a new coach with at least half a dozen problems on the roster.
I don’t remember a GM getting this much ire in such a short amount of time, but Treliving’s failure to spend $20 wisely has really set this team up for failure right now and it’s awful to watch, especially with Auston Matthews scoring 82 goals. . in the year.
