Toronto Maple Leafs: Sheldon Keefe Is Going to Get Fired?
The Toronto Maple Leafs made some bad hires this season and it cost them a lot of money.
During his tenure as general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, fans either loved or hated Kyle Dubas, and there was little difference between the two.
But after 14 games, you won’t find a single fan who likes Brad Treliving.
During Dubas’ career, the Leafs weren’t the best team ever to start a season, but they quickly turned around and the move seemed to work.
Whether it’s firing Mike Babcock, demoting Joe Thornton to replace Michael Bunting, or trading tough players like Ilya Lubushkin, Noel Acciari or Luke Schenn midseason, he’s made moves.
It’s only November 6th, and things usually don’t change until after the NHL trade deadline, but something has to be done.
When Babcock was fired, it was on November 20, 2019.
So today could be a big day as Sheldon Keefe will be the first on the block.

They send Keefe a package and give the team a few days to process the information and not worry back home.
As much as I hope Treliving and/or Shanahan get fired, I’d be shocked if Keefe isn’t the first to lose his job.
What if Keef gets fired?
Does it really change the outcome of anything?
Will this be the spark this team needs to help John Klingberg become a respected quarterback?
Not.
Clingberries must be cut.
He was terrible and he is no longer an NHL player.
As embarrassing as it was for the Leafs, it was predictable. This was wrong from the time it was posted.
The Toronto Maple Leafs need a big deal.
They’re not going to fix this team with a new coach when there are at least six roster issues.
I can’t remember a general manager getting so much hate after such a short time, but Treliving’s failure to spend $20 wisely has really failed this team and is scary to watch, especially when Auston Matthews is on pace to reach 82 goals. this year.
