Hamilton predicts exactly when Red Bull’s F1 dominance Would end.

Lewis Hamilton says Red Bull could stay well ahead of its rivals as it continues its dominance after the 2026 rules update.

The seven-time world champion believes there is little chance of Mercedes competing with Red Bull’s blitz this season, but understands how such a level of dominance can be achieved at the top of motorsport. Indeed, Hamilton enjoyed a glittering, trophy-laden early career with the Silver Arrows, who were at the height of their popularity for many years.

Speaking to Sky Sports F1, Hamilton said the sport “has to find a way” to prevent teams from getting ahead of themselves in early car development. Hamilton: A tough road ahead

“One of the great things about our team is that we may have started as a scrappy pack, but as we come together and grow and develop, we become a great team,” Hamilton said.

“We’re generally a very good team at developing and trying to catch up, but it’s been a very steep road from where we started. “When we won the World Championship, we were always ahead because we stopped early and started developing next year’s car.

“That’s why we said we have to find a way to stop this from going on for 10 years. “There is Ferrari, who have been winning for a long time, and then Mercedes. Now Red Bull has its own stage. “They can keep doing that until 2026 and they might move on, or another team might figure it out. “Hopefully we can understand that and bridge the gap.”
