Steelers HC Mike Tomlin on decision to fire Matt Canada: ‘Mine and mine alone’
Minutes after news broke that the Pittsburgh Steelers had fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada, rumors and debate began about how the team got to this point.
Many wondered if ownership would have to step in and make a decision, as manager Mike Tomlin was stubborn and refused to budge. But Tomlin said the decision to release Canada from the obligation is his, not anyone else’s.
