Browns injury report: Juan Thornhill, Denzel Ward among 11 players who missed Wednesday’s practice
The wounds are piling up. Despite going 7-3 on the season, the Cleveland Browns continue to lose key players. That was safety Rodney McLeod, who was recently placed on injured reserve with a bicep injury. To make matters worse, three other members of Denzel Ward’s bench and linebackers Grant Delpit and Juan Thornhill were injured in practice Wednesday as the team prepared to host the Denver Broncos. In all, the Browns were without 11 players for the first practice of the week. When rookie quarterback Joe Flacco first donned the orange helmet, the number of broken brown helmets was surprising. They have Jordan Kunasik back in the lineup after returning from IR, but there are bodies everywhere.
