Browns S Rodney McLeod release official statement after season-ending injury
After getting great play from the 12-year veteran safety, a player brought in because of his familiarity with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, the Cleveland Browns lost safety Rodney McLeod for the season with a torn biceps. So expect more from free agent safety Ronnie Hickman. Let’s hope this isn’t the end for McLeod, a player we’ll get in 2024 if he’s healthy and wants to return to Cleveland. However, following the injury, the veteran safety issued a statement after successfully undergoing surgery on a torn biceps he suffered against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Disappointment, frustration and anger are valid emotions as the 2023 season draws to a close. “But I’m grateful to have this Thanksgiving Day to reflect on the blessings God has given me throughout my 12-year career.”
Best of luck to McLeod after his season ending injury.
As the 2023 season draws to a close, disappointment, frustration and anger are all valid emotions. However, I am thankful for this Thanksgiving season where I can reflect on the blessings God has given me during my 12 years of work.
