Some fans even noted CBS commentator and former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo’s reaction to Parton’s performance after the halftime show. “He looked great,” Romo said during the NFL telecast. He is great. Who doesn’t love Dolly Parton?

Throughout her career, the country music icon has been known for her unforgettable fashion looks, from her rhinestone jackets to her voluminous blonde locks. Parton recently revealed that early in her career, she was asked to “demolish” her style.

Part 4 What Will Dolly Do? Speaking on Apple Music and Apple Podcasts, she revealed that her “dear friend” and fellow musician Chet Atkins once suggested she film an appearance. “He said, ‘Dolly, I don’t think people are going to take you seriously as a singer-songwriter if you don’t tone it down,'” Parton said when she hosted Kelly Bannen. “I was like, ‘Okay. I’ll keep that in mind, Mr. Atkins. Thank you for the advice. Of course, that made me feel worse.

“Years later, after I became a star, he sat next to me and said, ‘Aren’t you glad you took my good advice?'” he said. When asked what she would say to someone today if Bannen changed her look, Parton responded appropriately: “I said, ‘Fuck you!’ what will i say I won’t do it. ”

The “I Will Always Love You” singer said that “the person who makes you happy” should have their own style.

“My true belief about a lot of things is that you have to know who you really are, what makes you happy, what makes you comfortable. And if you feel like you look your best by following your own rules, then you’re right. It’s you. I’ll do my best can for you.” Parton said. “I really believe that. I think everyone has their own little things that they like. “That’s what fashion is to me.”
