Cardinals fire up Steelers after embarrassing loss

The Pittsburgh Steelers were embarrassed on the field, and then the Arizona Cardinals made it known.

According to Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette , the Cardinals chanted “Take your hat off” over the locker room speakers after the game. One player exclaimed: “Matt Canada was watching the game from his bed saying, ‘I’m the problem, aren’t I?'” he said.

“These people still stink,” shouted another.

Every Steeler listened to the locker room to back up those comments.

After the game, Jaylen Warren said the team may have taken the Cardinals too easy. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick said the same thing about Arizona’s Trey McBride.

“We allowed our tight ends to make catches up the middle. “He’s a good player,” Fitzpatrick said. “I don’t think I gave him the credit he deserved to begin with.”

“I think we take it easier than we should,” Warren said. The Steelers’ roller coaster season continues as they host the New England Patriots in Week 14. Their playoff hopes are still alive, but now without Kenny Pickett at quarterback, there’s no telling where this team will end up.
