LIV Golf star launched furious tirade at former Ryder Cup teammate Rory McIlroy
Another golf book that features the continuous fight between the PGA Visit and LIV Golf highlighted a selection that went after Rory McIlroy and his status in the game as well as his TGL attempts
Rory McIlroy was the subject of a red hot outburst from an anonymous previous Ryder Cup partner who escaped to LIV Golf.
Alan Shipnuck, a golf author, has published excerpts from his upcoming book on his website. The quotes are directed at McIlroy and criticize his fight against the Saudi-funded league. The book, “LIV and Let Bite the dust” highlights insider revealing with respect to the fight between the PGA Visit and the new rivalry.
An explosive alleged rant directed at McIlroy was featured in one of the book’s released excerpts. The author did not specify who made the remarks, but Today’s Golf published the passage.
“F*** Rory. I’m so tired of catching wind of how he is some sort of legend who is saving golf,” said the anonymous golf player. ” He bought and paid for it just like everyone else; the only difference is that his money comes from the other side.”
“Did you had any idea that when Outshine needed to do an arrangement with the PGA Visit, the Visit demanded that Rory be one of the endorsers? He was given a $10 million value stake that is currently worth $200 million.
“How would you think he got his own arrangement with NBC? That’s what the Visit handled, as well. The Visit is so dependent on Rory now they have given him his own association [TGL], despite the fact that it will rival the Visit for watchers and sponsors.”
“Rory’s contending energetically for the Visit since he needs to safeguard his income streams, not on the grounds that he thinks often about the actual Visit. That he is being held up as a deliverer on Twitter of some sort or another and by all the fanboys with their s***ty digital broadcasts lets you know how little individuals truly comprehend what is happening.”
As per reports, Sean O’Flaherty, McIlroy’s supervisor, requested the writer for the name from a golf player referenced in an article. The creator denied, expressing that the golf player had simply consented to namelessly talk.
There has been a lot of public to and fro among McIlroy and previous Group Europe partners who picked to take the cash on offer by LIV Golf. He as of late focused on Henrik Stenson, the previous Ryder Cup commander who lost the job to Luke Donald after his choice to join LIV.
“The best thing to happen to the 2023 Euro Ryder Cup group was Henrik going to LIV!,” McIlroy composed via web-based entertainment. A couple of days sooner, subsequent to calling for Ryder Cup rules to be changed to oblige Jon Rahm, he recommended Europe didn’t miss other previous partners who passed up the latest competition.
McIlroy wrote, “We didn’t NEED any of the others in Rome, and we didn’t miss them.” We’d surely miss and need Jon at Bethpage.”
