Jerry Jones, Brazilian Car Salesman, Wants Cowboys in Mexico City
Jerry Jones, Brazilian car salesman looking for cowboys in Mexico City Would you buy a used Brazilian car from this man?
Jerry Jones wants the Dallas Cowboys to be in Mexico City instead of Brazil Explain why.
We’ll explain that on FISH PODCAST.
As soon as the NFL announced Wednesday that regular-season games would be played in Brazil in 2024, speculation began to swirl that the Dallas Cowboys would be in attendance.
“Speculation” forgot to ask “car dealer” Jerry Jones.
As CowboysSI.com was quick to point out, the idea of the Cowboys participating in the Sao Paulo International game has some hurdles, even if the concept is exciting.
Among those obstacles is the fact that the Miami Dolphins are assigned to Brazil as a marketing territory and are rightly expected to play there.
And this game is designated as an “NFC Home Game,” so if Miami participates, his NFC opponent for the Dolphins must be on his 2024 schedule, but not for the Cowboys.
is not included.
Most importantly, the reason the Cowboys are probably not involved here is because team owner Jones simply and traditionally doesn’t want to miss out on home games at AT&T Stadium due to the lucrative nature of them.
I understand that.
What does Jerry say about this?
He acknowledged our point of view and said: “We have a lot of fans.
That might work for a lot of clubs.
It doesn’t suit the Cowboys.
We have the highest viewership in the NFL.
” And that means money .
What does Jerry want to do regarding international games? If we have to give up (home games), I'd like to have them (in) Mexico,'' Jones said. This is our natural synergy and affinity with our fan base. ” And finally, what does Jerry do? Do you know anything about Brazil? A lot turned out. . .
I have a lot of stores in Brazil.
” “I’m one of the biggest car dealers in Brazil,” Jones revealed.
(And no, we didn’t know that.
) “But I’m less interested in the Cowboys playing in Mexico City (than in wanting to play in Mexico City).
” We discuss all of this on the Phish Podcast and Medium.
