The Toronto Maples Leafs Will Be Without Tough Guy as He Has an unexpected Injury

Toronto Maple Leafs’ Ryan Reeves suffers lower body injury Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Ryan Reaves appears to be sidelined with a lower body injury.
It started out innocently enough, but Reeves winced.
Therefore, the Leafs forward is expected to be sidelined for some time.
The Toronto Maples Leafs are without big man Ryan Reeves due to injury.
Ryan Reeves is a veteran in his NHL where he played for 14 years and appeared in 848 games.
He was added to the Leafs’ lineup specifically to power the physical nature of the playoffs.
Additionally, he has 1,039 PIMs over his career.
The total penalty time probably won’t be as high as in previous years.
Conversely, Reeves appears to have been the division’s heavyweight champion for several years.
He didn’t have any goals to speak of, but that’s even less true at this stage of his career.
He’s focused on playing hard above all else, and it shows in his stats.
He’s been pretty bad this year, appearing in 20 games and averaging 7 minutes, 44.
37 seconds on ice, but only scoring one goal this season.
What does this mean for the Leafs?
However, it remains to be determined whether Reeves will be able to book a ticket to the infamous “Isla Robidas.
” Leafs general manager Brad Treliving and his team will have to make decisions depending on how long Reeves is out.
They need to decide whether to replace his physical presence for the playoffs.
Additionally, the Leafs tried to get tougher by acquiring Reaves, Ty’s son Max Domi, or Todd’s nephew Tyler Bertuzzi.
Depending on how the lineup plays and how the defense performs physically, Treliving may or may not seek a contract at the trade deadline.
