Russell Wilson Confirms Troubling Report About The Broncos

On Wednesday came the news that the Denver Horses had chosen to seat beginning quarterback Russell Wilson for Jarrett Stidham.

This news came after the Mustangs’ staggering misfortune to the sad New Britain Loyalists by three in Week 16 which dropped their record to 7-8.

According to Jordan Schultz, Wilson says that the team told him earlier this season that he would be benched if he didn’t defer an injury guarantee on his contract. Wilson also says that he expects Denver to cut him after the season is over.

According to Schultz, the decision to bench Wilson right now was made for financial reasons.

Wilson didn’t play too seriously versus New Britain, going 25 of 37 and tossing for 238 yards, two scores, and zero interferences.

Instead of last season, when he had by a wide margin the most terrible time of his profession, Wilson has been playing rather well this season, as he has 3,070 passing yards, 26 passing scores, and a 66.4 percent consummation rate.

Still, a lot of people thought Denver made a big mistake by trading for him before the season started because Denver gave up a lot to get him and Denver doesn’t have enough weapons around him to win a Super Bowl.

After the season is over, if they do cut him, it would be like admitting that they bought him in the first place, which was a big mistake.

The Mustangs gave up five draft picks, tight end Noah Fant, protective end Shelby Harris, and quarterback Attracted Lock to the Seattle Seahawks to get Wilson.

One of those draft picks transformed into Devon Witherspoon, who is viewed as the best freshman cornerback in the NFL at the present time
