Lions Projected to Target unbelievable super talent in 2024 NFL Draft

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah predicted head coach Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions to draft Zach Frazier at No. 29 overall in the 2024 NFL draft.

Top picks in the NFL Draft often make an immediate impact, but also offer long-term upside potential. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah suggested the Detroit Lions could find both West Virginia interior offensive lineman Zach Frazier. Jeremiah predicted the Lions would select Frazier with the 29th overall pick in the second 2024 NFL mock draft.

NFL Draft analysts have argued that Frazier could first help the Lions fill in free agent offensive linemen. But as long as he stays in Detroit long-term, Frazier could be a candidate to replace center Frank Ragnow.

“The Lions’ starting cornerback is set to become a free agent this offseason, and it appears to be a Dan Campbell type of player,” Jeremiah wrote. “Frazier was a state champion wrestler in high school, so he might start at guard and move to center.”

Ragnow made it clear this offseason that he will not retire. However, the veteran center, who will be in his sixth year as of 2023, has been plagued by repeated injuries, playing more than two seasons with an injured toe.
