After Verstappen’s poor performance in Singapore, Hamilton is suspected by Red Bull.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez both missed the podium in Singapore on Sunday, prompting Lewis Hamilton to weigh in on Red Bull’s below-par performance.

After a disappointing Singapore Grand Prix for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, Lewis Hamilton has claimed that Red Bull is already working on the car for next year.

After finishing fifth in Southeast Asia after starting all the way back in 11th, Verstappen’s winning streak of 10 races came to an end.
The Dutchman’s situation could have been much worse, but he managed to avoid a grid penalty in qualifying despite the Formula 1 stewards conducting three separate investigations.

Red Bull struggled in Singapore, and Perez ultimately came in eighth, but the team still leads Mercedes by a huge margin of 309 points in the Constructors’ Standings.
However, Hamilton has determined why Red Bull may have dipped off and would have been hoping for a better performance.

Hamilton said, “I don’t really know why they’re off, pace-wise.
“However, I think it’s fantastic to see that others, like [McLaren and Ferrari], have accelerated significantly.

“I think it’s great to see that Ferrari has really stepped up, and that’s a good thing.
If you stop to consider it, they have most likely not been growing.
Clearly, McLaren introduced an upgrade in this case, and others are doing the same.

“They’re [Red Bull] working on the car for next year, so.
They have less wind tunnel time than we do, so they are probably using some of this year’s for next year’s; they would have migrated before us.

Therefore, I don’t believe it’s the only issue.
They have such a clear advantage that they may be developing their car less while we continue to work hard to improve our current one.
Yet only time will tell.
“.

Red Bull’s poor performance allowed Carlos Sainz, driving for Ferrari, to win the race for the first time.
Charles Leclerc took fourth place, ahead of Lando Norris and Hamilton in second and third place, respectively.

After his historic victory, Sainz said: “An incredible feeling, an incredible weekend.
We made every effort to correct the situation, and I want to thank everyone at Ferrari for their efforts.
Everything depended on managing the race and being aware of our limitations.
I had to make sure I reached the target lap before pitting.

“It was all about managing the stints to make sure I made it to the target laps we wanted to do in each compound.
It was all about staying within our limits with regard to tyre wear and degradation.
I knew it would be a lengthy stint on hard because, obviously, a safety car forced us to pit even earlier than we had intended.

To be completely honest, I always felt in control and like I had the mental clarity and physical stamina to complete any task. I won’t lie; you are obviously under pressure and on the verge of making a mistake of some sort, but I felt in control and confident in my ability to handle things.
I’m ecstatic right now because we were able to bring it home, and that is the best feeling.
