Deion Sanders receives a clear message from Lincoln Riley.
“We haven’t been paying attention to the opposition or anything else outside.
Each to his or her own.
“.
Last week, the Oregon Ducks appeared to take quite a personal interest in defeating Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes because they felt disrespected by some of the players and coaches from Colorado’s team.
The USC Trojans, however, don’t appear to be adopting the same strategy in advance of their game against the Buffaloes.
The team will focus on their own preparation rather than what Colorado is doing or any antics from Deion Sanders, according to head coach Lincoln Riley, who made this clear during this week’s press conference.
Riley told On3 that “We just try to keep being ourselves and maintaining our sound approach.”.
“We haven’t been paying attention to the opposition or anything else outside. To each his or her own.
We must maintain our concentration.
There are many things that we need to learn and prepare for.
That’s not the best thing for USC if any of our attention is diverted elsewhere.
“.
USC is currently rated No. 8 according to the AP Poll.
After losing to the Ducks 42-6 last week, this will be the highest-ranked team the Colorado Buffaloes have faced this season.
