Despite having left the team at the conclusion of 2018, Daniel Ricciardo is reportedly Red Bull’s top choice if they decide to part ways with Sergio Perez in 2024.
With Red Bull’s sister team AlphaTauri, Ricciardo made a sensational return to the Formula 1 grid this season, taking the place of the underwhelming Nyck de Vries.

Although Perez won two Grand Prix races earlier in 2023, the pressure on him has increased, especially with Ricciardo’s return to the starting lineup.
After being released by McLaren at the end of the previous season, Ricciardo returned to the Formula One series with the intention of joining Red Bull.
Red Bull will have to make a big decision about whether to keep Perez as Max Verstappen’s teammate or sign Daniel Ricciardo when his contract with the team expires at the end of 2024.
