DaBaby lost sponsorships and festival spots. He had his supporters, but overall his words—his terrible words—were one of the biggest stories in the music business at the time due to the massive backlash against him.

Sanders couldn’t find someone who didn’t spread hate, kill someone, or slap a woman, so he chose this person to assist him in motivating his team before a difficult opponent?

Was DaBaby the only option available and truly the best?

Sanders welcomes DaBaby in the video by saying, “I got somebody else who went through something.”.

DaBaby didn’t “go through something,” in my opinion.
He created the circumstances on his own.
Nothing was done to him.
Additionally, he wasn’t merely addressing a few problems. He hurt the LGBTQ community by disseminating false information that was harmful.

And don’t even get me started on the message you’re giving young men by putting a woman attacker in front of them.

It might seem contradictory to criticize Sanders now after writing a recent column about how Colorado is Black America’s team.
But there is no contradiction at all.
A variety of things may be true. The reality is that Sanders’ storyline will be drawn out and intricate. It will be filled with greatness and inspiration, but it will also be difficult and full of errors.
One of those mistakes is this one.

Sanders wanted to demonstrate to his team that you can overcome adversity.
Sanders was looking for a way to convince his players that they would always face difficulty after his team was humiliated by Oregon the previous week.
What counts is how you react to it.

DaBaby also has every right to make an effort to recover from a self-inflicted cancellation.
A lot of awful people make mistakes and then turn around.
But because of DaBaby’s extreme and repulsive behavior, any message about redemption is lost.
What has DaBaby accomplished that demonstrates his efforts to alter his viewpoints, and what has he accomplished to merit the significant platform Sanders granted him?

Young players will undoubtedly enjoy hearing from DaBaby, and I’ll receive a lot of gifs of an elderly man yelling at the clouds.
Yet again, I enquire: Was there anyone better?

Whoa, nobody?

Someone like DaBaby doesn’t need to speak on Sanders’ program.
Sanders is the best recruiter in the nation, so it’s going to grow to incredible heights.
A national championship will be won by Colorado. It will happen eventually.
