According to Travis Kelce, the NFL is “overdoing it” in regards to Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs star and his brother, fellow NFL player Jason Kelce, discussed Taylor Swift’s second appearance at his games in a new episode of Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights. For those who are unaware, Travis and Swift are allegedly dating.
Jason specifically questioned Travis on whether he believed the NFL had overdone its coverage of Taylor if Travis were to be relieved of his feelings for her.
Travis reacted, “I think it’s entertaining when they show who is all at the game.
“I think it adds a little bit more to the atmosphere and what you’re watching, in my opinion.
However, I also believe that they may be going a little too far, particularly in my case.
They appear to be merely trying to have fun with it.
“.
The NFL is probably unfamiliar with celebrities visiting, Jason continued.
He told Travis, “Basketball has it down.”.
“You show them once to let them know they’re there, maybe after a touchdown get a little clip of it, but you can’t go overboard with it.
People are there to watch the game, right?
They’re not there to be thrown on television, Travis retorted.
“.
At the most recent match at MetLife Stadium, Swift—who has attended the last two Chiefs games—brought along some friends including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and others.
It appears the sports organization is only heavily promoting it because it’s her, despite some people wondering if the two were dating or if it was just to promote the NFL.
