Tua Tagovailoa Expresses His Opinions About Dolphins Rookie.

De’Von Achane is a genuine gem that the Miami Dolphins have discovered.

Even though it’s still early in the season, the team was already raving about his performances in training camp, and it didn’t take long for him to start having an impact on the field.

Achane, who averages over 11 yards per carry, put on a show against the Denver Broncos by rushing for 203 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns while also catching four passes for 30 yards and two additional scores.

When asked what he thought of him, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa praised him for being soft-spoken but very intelligent, saying that he fully understands the offense, the timing, and where he needs to be on every single play (via David Furones).

Especially for those who missed the season’s opening game, that is difficult for rookie players to accomplish.

However, it’s possible that expecting him to maintain an average of 11 yards per carry throughout the entire season is unrealistic, especially given the fact that no one has ever done it in the league’s history.

It wouldn’t be surprising, however, to see him outperform veteran Raheem Mostert and handle the majority of the touches out of the Dolphins’ backfield.

He’s not exactly a physical specimen and is a little bit smaller, but his ability to accelerate and shift gears is simply amazing.

To improve their running game, the Dolphins kept an eye on Dalvin Cook and even tried to sign Jonathan Taylor.

The solution was always in plain sight, so perhaps the fact that they didn’t get either of them was a blessing in disguise.
