Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel release official statement why acquiring ex-Bears WR Chase Claypool

Former Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool joining the Dolphins is an “exciting opportunity,” according to coach Mike McDaniel.

In exchange for a draft pick, the Steelers dealt Claypool to the Bears last season.
During his brief stay in Chicago, he played in 10 games and caught 18 passes for 191 yards.

After being selected in the second round of the 2020 draft, Claypool had an impressive rookie year, accumulating 873 receiving yards.
