Arizona State President Backpedals on Deion Sanders Comments, AD Credits Him for Sellout

The president of Arizona State retracts his remarks about Deion Sanders, and AD accuses him of betraying the state.

2023 has proven to be Deion Sanders’ year in college football.

But what if Boulder, Colorado, had been replaced with somewhere else? the Colorado coach was in sunny Tempe, Arizona, developing his glitzy program.

Although it may have happened, in September of last year Arizona State president Michael M.
Crow deemed Sanders too inexperienced for the position.
