Lewis Hamilton discusses his Formula One retirement plans.
In an insightful television interview, Lewis Hamilton revealed some information about his plans to retire from Formula 1.
In fact, the 38-year-old went even further after making that commitment by saying he “plans to be around a while” afterwards and doesn’t think that will be his final contract.
After retiring, Hamilton affirms he won’t compete in any other series.
But even the greats eventually fade away, and unlike other retiring F1 champions like Kimi Raikkonen or fellow countryman Jenson Button, who enjoyed his brief stint in NASCAR, Hamilton confirmed he has not thought about competing in any other series when he is done in F1.
In an interview with French TV station Canal+, he stated, “I don’t feel the urge to enter other competitions after F1.”.

I continue to do so; I own two superbikes.
“I plan to ride a motorcycle, but not in a race. I don’t think I’ll participate in any more competitions, at least not as a professional because I have a lot of other things to do. It takes far too long.

In the interview, Hamilton also discussed how energetic he was as a youngster, emphasizing this point by drawing a comparison between himself and a well-known comic book character.
