Kelly Piquet shares proud tribute to ‘spectacular’ Verstappen

Kelly Piquet pays’spectacular’ Verstappen a heartfelt tribute.

Max Verstappen has won the Formula One world championship for the third time in a row, and Kelly Piquet has congratulated him, saying she is “proud beyond words” of the Dutchman.

After finishing second in the sprint race to Oscar Piastri of McLaren, Verstappen went on to win his third consecutive championship at the weekend.

The Dutchman currently leads the team with 433 points, a total that Sergio Perez, who is in second place with 224 points, will not be able to match by the end of the season.

The 2023 constructors’ championship has also been won by Red Bull, ahead of Mercedes, who finished with 326 points.
Red Bull scored 657 points in total.

Piquet, who attended the race in Doha, congratulated Verstappen on Instagram with a number of pictures and videos.

Verstappen and Piquet were partners from the start.

Piquet, a three-time F1 champion’s daughter, has been formally associated with Verstappen since 2021.

She had a daughter, Penelope, with Formula One driver Daniil Kvyat before that.

In a strange turn of events, Verstappen was hired by Red Bull to take Kvyat’s place in 2016 after the Russian driver was demoted to Toro Rosso.

From 2017 to 2019, Kyvat and Piquet were romantically involved.

Now, Verstappen and Piquet can frequently be seen together in Monaco, where they share a home, and on vacation when he takes a break from Formula 1.
