Eagles sign CB from Steelers practice squad.

The Eagles have acquired a cornerback from the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad.

Josiah Scott, a cornerback with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad, has been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles, according to his agent JL Sports.
.

After being released by the Eagles, Scott was added to the Steelers practice squad at the beginning of the year.
Finally, due to an injury, he was transferred to the practice squad reserve.
He will now go back to Philadelphia, where he started four games there last year, for Week 7.
.

Scott played 29 games, including those four starts, for the Eagles over the course of the previous two seasons. He contributed to Philadelphia being invited to the Super Bowl in 2022 by intercepting two passes and deflecting eight more.
.

Darius Slay, who was injured against the Jets in Week 6, is out, and Bradley Roby, who injured his shoulder during the game, are both cornerback injuries for Philadelphia.
.

Scott must spend at least four weeks on the Eagles’ active roster after being signed off the practice squad.
