Aaron Donald release official statement anid Steelers trade Rumors

The star player for the LA Rams has not considered joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.

PITTSBURGH – For months now, talk has focused on Aaron Donald’s decision to end his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Los Angeles Rams, who are still trying to determine whether they are a playoff team or not, have been linked to rumors that they may be considering trading their All-Pro defensive tackle.

Of course, when considering a trade, his hometown team, the Steelers, came first.
I guess we can put those discussions to rest now. The Pro Bowler for the Rams discussed this weekend’s game against Pittsburgh and was questioned about perhaps ending his career there.
Well, his response wasn’t exactly what some fans had hoped.

When asked if he had considered retiring as a Steeler, Donald replied, “Not really, no. I never gave it any thought.
I never gave it any consideration.

At this point in his career, Donald doesn’t even consider the Pittsburgh game against his hometown team to be a thrilling contest.
This week feels like just another game after several meetings over the course of his time with the Rams.

I was eager about it my first year, in 2015, said Donald.
“Obviously, returning to Pittsburgh (in 2019) was exciting.
Even though playing against the team I grew up supporting is cool, it’s just another week.
search for a means of success.
Until we have to play them, I still consider myself a Steelers fan, and I still check to see how they’re doing.

Of course, the Steelers will come up again if Donald does put himself up for trade at any point this year.
However, for the time being, it is unlikely that the Pitt native will return home to don the black and gold.
