Christian Horner rudely targeted Ted Kravitz after Max Verstappen’s release.

Christian Horner couldn’t resist giving Sky Sports F1 pit lane reporter Ted Kravitz a polite slap after the sprint shots at the US Grand Prix.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner launched a fresh attack on Sky Sports F1’s Ted Kravitz during the US Grand Prix.

The pit lane journalist was at the center of a major row with the world champions a year ago when Red Bull were seen boycotting an interview with Sky Sports.
Speaking on the Notebook Show after the 2022 Austin Grand Prix, Kravitz said Lewis Hamilton’s assault on Max Verstappen was like a “movie script” that “robbed” the season finale in Abu Dhabi last December.

Verstappen won the race, beating the Mercedes with six laps to go.
The “extortion” comments were the final straw for Red Bull, who felt Sky’s reporting was particularly unfair to Kravitz.

Red Bull refused to speak to Sky about the next Mexican Grand Prix before the boycott was lifted.
Since then, Kravitz has conducted regular interviews with team officials, including Horner and Verstappen.
But the streak doesn’t seem to have been forgotten by Horner, who harshly criticized Kravitz’s spending following the sprint shots that set the standard for tonight’s Austin sprint race.
During the session, Kravitz reported that Verstappen was driving with a slight car failure. When Sky Sports put this to Horner, he replied: “Ted is always talking.
He usually doesn’t come out of his mouth.”

Presenter Simon Lazenby chimed in and said it was “unfair” and Horner continued: “There are always things that can be cleaned up with power.
There are a number of issues that Max wants to adjust before the race.
[No problems] in terms of reliability”.

This comment did not go down well with some fans, who even demanded an apology from the Red Bull supremo.
One person said: “Horner owes Ted Kravitz an apology.
“That was a completely unacceptable comment and Max said it was an electrical problem.”

Another said: “Christian Horner is basically the Ted Kravitz he’s talking about.” A third Red Bull fan added: “Christian Horner slams Ted Kravitz for talking trash.
This person is my team leader!

Verstappen took the lead in the sprint, with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc joining him on the front row.
