It was big news on Saturday that the San Francisco 49ers released wide receiver Deebo Samuel for Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Samuel did not return after suffering a shoulder injury in the first half of the Browns’ game against San Francisco last week.
It is said that he was active day and night seven days a week, but he never trained and now denies it.
In particular, Trent Williams’ left ankle is questionable. He didn’t play in the game against Cleveland for a while before returning, but he also missed all of practice this week and now likely won’t play Monday night.
