Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor Clowns NFL For Issuing Drug Test After Solid Performance

Performing well in the NFL is a bad thing.
Once disgruntled Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was given an “incidental” drug test by the NFL after committing his first fumble of the season on Sunday.
Taylor did more than contribute a touchdown for Indianapolis.
In a 39-38 loss against the Cleveland Browns – Taylor had 75 rushing yards on 18 carries and also added three receptions for 45 yards.
The NFL deemed the performance questionable and sent JT for a drug test as part of the league’s weekly testing initiative to “randomly” test 10 players.

Taylor has credibility issues.
He called out the NFL on social media for adding the guard to his journey as an RB1. And of course it makes Indy’s tough loss even worse.

Taylor posted the following on Monday, along with a laughing emoji: β€œWhen I got back to the end zone I got drug tested.
After a good run, the NFL got a bad rap for drug testing.
At one point, they tried to trade the Seahawks for D.K. Metcalf will be drug tested based on the viral video he was responsible for. If you see even an ounce of fish, it’s all about the NFL.
Also playing devil’s advocate, the NFL announced a slew of PED-related suspensions to start the year.
Saints rookie Jake Haener and former Dallas Cowboys running back Ronald Jones began the year with performance-enhancing drug bans.
Last week, the Colts lost standout defensive tackle Grover Stewart for six games after violating the league’s PED rules.

Paranoia rules the NFL lab.
