Deion Sanders said he “loved” the Saturday Night Live parody, but revealed his favorite impressionist.

The long-running sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live recently returned for its 49th season.
During last week’s season premiere, SNL cast member Kenan Thompson had a little fun at the expense of Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders.
Thompson was wearing a Buffaloes hoodie and hat.
At the end of the skit, the actor wore sunglasses similar to the gold sunglasses Sanders usually wears outdoors.
Sanders doesn’t appear to be in on the joke, saying he enjoys watching Thompson parody himself. But former NFL player and current YouTube star and comedian Lou Young admits to being one of Coach Prime’s biggest influences.
“But I’m a Kenan fan.
Let’s get this straight,” Sanders said during a press conference Tuesday, referring to the “SNL” script. \”It was good.\”

Sanders previously shared a video on social media of his son Shiloh watching Prime coach.

The Buffaloes lost 46-43 at home to Stanford in double overtime, a game in which Colorado was outscored 29-0. The Buffaloes did not play last week due to a scheduled rest.

Sanders said he was unhappy with the loss to Stanford.
“I never stop to think.
That’s my problem,” Sanders said.
“That’s why we humans sometimes can’t rest.
We must learn to stop our thoughts.
“It’s hard for me to shut him down because I love him so much and I want to dominate him.”

Thompson, playing Sanders, mimicked Sanders’ confidence in an “SNL” skit that aired the night after Stanford’s loss.
“I just won.
“Every game.” Each moment.
We will win in life.”

Host Colin Jost replied, “Yeah, you too, 4-3.
So you’ve lost something.” Jost also talked about the loss to Stanford.

“Wasn’t that crazy?
We’re 29 and there’s nothing in the first inning,” Thompson said, facing Sanders.
“So I went home and went to bed.
Like everyone else, I woke up this morning confused. But hey, nobody’s perfect.
Name an undefeated team.\”

The Buffaloes travel to California this weekend to take on UCLA in the Rose Bowl. Sanders said he was impressed with Bruins coach Chip Kelly.
“I’m amazed at the success he’s had in football, not only in college but in the pros,” Sanders said.

It remains to be seen if his team lives up to expectations in Sanders’ first season in Colorado.

“I have high hopes,” Sanders said.
“I know where I think we need to get to record levels and what we can accomplish.
I just want to put it all together.”
