We’ve been following all of the Atlanta Braves’ offseason news.
The Atlanta Braves led the major leagues with 104 wins in 2023, but entered the offseason looking to rebuild a roster that suffered a first-round exit in the postseason.
While the pitching side of the roster is pretty solid thanks to all the additions the team has made over the past few seasons, there are some question marks on the pitching side.
The most pressing need is unknown to Charlie Morton, and the maximum fried, which is included in the final season of the team.
In addition, Kyle Right slides to miss all 2024 June after shoulder surgery.
Atlanta has several young starters who could step in, but they could be looking for a control arm who can contribute beyond 2024.
The Braves also need to rebuild a bit.
Razel Iglesias returns as the team’s closer, but like Fried, A.J. Minter is entering his final year of team control.
In addition, Joe Jimenez and Jesse Chavez are free agents, and the team also has contract options for veterans Collin McHugh and Kirby Yates.
Atlanta could add some flexibility to its roster, which has been primarily deployed through the 2023 season.
