“If the Colts want to find a way to get 2022 third-rounder Nick Cross longer, they could make things easier by moving on from Blackmon, who is in the final year of his rookie contract,” Patra wrote.

Blackmon just turned 25 and would be relatively cheap to sign a second contract despite his rookie deal expiring. He could be viewed as a building block for the Colts’ future, but if he’s considered expendable, there’s no shortage of suitors.
