Deion Sanders drops a big truth bomb on Michigan billboard theft scandal (video)
While other coaches complained about the Michigan football team’s illegal sign stealing, Colorado State’s Deion Sanders had a different reaction.
Employee Conor Stallion was accused of buying tickets to more than 30 Big Ten games over several seasons, putting the Michigan Wolverines at the center of a sign-stealing scandal.
People sat by the sidelines and took pictures of the signs used by each team during the game.
This may be the biggest problem we’ve seen in a while because it’s the latest problem Jim Harbaugh has had with the NCAA.
Deion Sanders gave a surprising answer when asked about the allegations during his weekly press conference on Tuesday.
He said at a press conference on Tuesday that knowing the football game plan does not mean a team can stop the opponent.
Sanders added that knowing what play is being played in baseball is more useful than knowing what play is being played in football because multiple players must perform tasks on each play.
“I mean, everybody’s trying to make a profit. I mean, everybody’s trying to get what they can,” Sanders said.
“You can have somebody’s whole game plan and email it to you, but you still have to stop.
We still have to stop.
“In football it’s not as clear as in baseball.
I caught you when I knew a curve was coming.
It doesn’t matter if you know sweepers exist in football or not.
We still have to stop.
Physically, it’s a bit difficult because it’s a physical game and you have to stop.
I don’t think anyone would steal this or that.
I do not believe. You still have to play.
“During our glory days, both in San Francisco and with the Cowboys, we knew Emmitt Smith was going to get the ball.
You know Mike Irvin is running for comeback. You know exactly what Jay Novacek is trying to do and you can’t stop him.
“You can have someone’s entire game plan and email it to you, but you still have to stop.”
Sign stealing is not prohibited by the NCAA, but privacy gives you an advantage over sign stealing.
More than a week after the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season were released, there’s no doubt that Michigan will be No. 1.
Michigan’s 49-0 win over Michigan State in arguably its most dominant game of the Wolverines’ year.
The Wolves begin their bye week at 8-0.
The program continues to process the impact of this investigation.
Until a decision is made, the Wolverines will continue to dodge their opponents.
