Colorado Travis Hunter Add Another NIL Deal to Impressive Portfolio
Two-time Colorado All-Star Travis Hunter has signed a new NIL contract with American Eagle, adding the popular apparel brand to his extensive catalog of NIL offerings.
On Friday, Hunter announced the AE partnership on Instagram with the caption “Off the Field Comfort @americaneagle #AEPartner #aejeans.” New contracts for the Buffaloes’ cornerbacks and wide receivers continue to generate buzz and excitement both on and off the field.
In addition to American Eagle, there are NIL deals on Hunter Active Black, Michael Strahan Brand, NXTRND, and SoHoodie.
He also has fishing contracts with Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits, KastKing and WaterLand Co.
Hunter has been in the epicenter of college football through the first two weeks of the season, recording over 274 tackles in two games against TCU and Nebraska in Colorado. However, in Colorado State’s Week 3 win over Colorado State, Hunter took a hard hit from Rams safety Henry Blackburn, rupturing his liver and causing him to miss the Buffaloes’ next three games.
Despite the Buffaloes’ 46-43 overtime loss to Stanford, Hunter returned to the field and recorded 13 receptions for 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
He also recorded five tackles on defense.
In addition to Hunter’s new contract and his influence on the field, the 20-year-old continues to make waves in the media.
On Tuesday, Hunter and teammate Sheder Sanders sat in the front row for the Lakers’ season opener against the Nuggets at Ball Arena.
While sitting courtside before the game, Lakers star LeBron James spoke to the Colorado duo and told them he loved them.
Hunter and Sanders were thrilled with the feedback and respect from the four-time MVP.
