Jaguars Twitter account makes fun of Steelers WR George Pickens
Before Sunday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver George Pickens launched a not-so-subtle attack on the Jaguars defense, calling it a “hopeful” defense that only gives the Jaguars backfield material. Something they take personally.
Fast forward to Sunday’s game, and the Jaguars not only beat the Steelers 20-10, but also held Pickens to a 22-yard touchdown.
To be honest, it was a hit, but in the grand scheme of things, it didn’t make sense.
“It’s dangerous,” a Jaguars official said after the game.
At the time, we said we didn’t like what Pickens had said.
Especially since his comments about the Jaguars defense applied 100% to the Steelers secondary as well.
