Deion Sanders Calls Out NCAA

Deion Sanders called on the NCAA to “do something” after Colorado players stole jewelry from the Rose Bowl locker room during a loss at UCLA.

Last weekend’s Colorado-UCLA football game wasn’t focused on what happened on the field.

Instead, on Saturday, jewelry belonging to kids who played under Deion Sanders was stolen from the visiting team’s locker room.
“This is a pot of roses.
It’s called ‘everybody’s grandfather,’ right?
I’m sure he’s got some money,” Sanders said.
“Your grandfather must have money to give to these children.”

“Last week my children were robbed during a game. I think it’s dishonest. I expect the NCAA to do something about it,” Sanders continued.

Sanders said his players will provide a detailed list of items stolen from the locker room during games this week and he expects his team to be honest.
The Buffaloes lost 16-28 to the UCLA Bruins on Saturday in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Sanders said the thefts occurred in Colorado and UCLA locker rooms.

After the incident, several players from the Colorado team expressed their displeasure in a video.
During the game? Did they steal the necklace? “He’s crazy.” one player asked his lost teammate.

“I got mine,” another player complained. “I had a jewelry box and everything … and they took it out of my jewelry box.”

Los Angeles Times UCLA reporter Ben Bolch reports that Pasadena police have confirmed the robbery. The UCLA athletic department also confirmed this fact. The investigation is ongoing because there was no surveillance in the locker room.

The players expressed their displeasure over this incident in a video.

“I hope the NCAA can do something about it,” Sanders said.
“You do something with everything else.
Please do something.\’

The robbery charge is the latest incident that hasn’t been easy for Bivoli.
After starting the season 3-0 and earning a national ranking, Colorado has lost four of five games, including a 1-4 record in the Pac-12 Conference.

Things won’t be easy for Sanders and his team when they welcome No. 16 Oregon State to Boulder on Saturday night.
