Chip Kelly responds to jewelry stolen by Colorado football players during UCLA loss.
Not only did Colorado football lose to UCLA football on the road to Los Angeles, but they also lost a gem.
After the Buffaloes lost 28-16 to the Bruins, several Colorado players reported having their jewelry stolen from the Rose Bowl locker room.
The UCLA athletic department released a statement after the game saying it had reported the jewelry theft to police.
βThe UCLA Athletics Department confirms that the Pasadena Police Department received a report of items missing from the Colorado locker room following the UCLA-Colorado football game. UCLA is contacting law enforcement, Rose Bowl Stadium officials and the University of Colorado regarding this matter.”
Bruins coach Chip Kelly also responded to the theft after the game.
“It’s scary for everybody,” Chip Kelly said.
