Deion Sanders made huge demands for the Rose Bowl following locker room theft

Several Colorado State players had items stolen from the locker room during Saturday’s loss to UCLA, and Deion Sanders offered to fix the problem.

Deion Sanders Jr., a Buffaloes wide receiver who also creates social media content for the team, shared a video on YouTube Sunday in which several Colorado players say their jewelry was stolen from the Rose Bowl locker room during the game.
The UCLA athletic department later released a statement saying a report had been filed with the Pasadena Police Department.

Coach Prime was asked about the incident on Tuesday. He offered compensation to the Rose Bowl players.

“All these things have to be replaced.
This is a pot of roses. They say it’s the granddaddy of them all, right?
“I’m sure my grandfather has money.” Sanders said, via David Ubben of The Athletic.
“Your grandfather must have money to give to these children.”

Sanders called the theft a “mockery” and scoffed at the suggestion that players should not leave valuable jewelry in locker rooms. He also asked the NCAA to intervene.

“I expect the NCAA to do something about it,” Sanders added.
“These are students.
I’m sure they’re not thinking about insurance at this point in their lives.”

It is unclear who entered the locker room during the game, but police will investigate. We doubt the Rose Bowl or the NCAA will step in and compensate all the players.
