DEPARTURE: Minnesota Vikings have officially traded an unbelievable player.

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they will trade cornerback Ezra Cleveland to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Completion of the deal is contingent upon the completion of a Cleveland physical.
Cleveland originally joined the Vikings as a second-round pick out of Minnesota out of Boise State in the 2020 NFL Draft. He played tackle for the Broncos in college, but the Vikings moved him to right guard during his rookie season and then to left guard in 2021.
Since then, he has now led the Vikings offensive line in 45 consecutive starts before missing Minnesota’s Week 7 game against San Francisco with a foot injury in Chicago.

Dalton Risner, who signed as a free agent earlier this season, has started the last two games for Cleveland in Chicago.
Cleveland’s streak includes 53 regular season games (49 starts) and last season’s wild card game.
He was scheduled to become a free agent after this season.
News of the Cleveland trade comes shortly after Minnesota traded quarterback Joshua Dobbs and Arizona’s sixth-round pick for a conditional 2024 seventh-round pick.
