Former Steelers OL Ramon Foster on the oline issues: ‘Who are the goons?’

Ramon Foster joined the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent in 2009.
But that didn’t matter.
Foster left Tennessee with a poor hitting streak and shaky work ethic and went on to have a successful 11-year, 145-start career.

Since retiring, Foster has pursued a career in media, bringing the Steelers’ offensive line woes to life on The Fan Morning Show. You can hear Foster’s full comments by clicking on the recording below, but to reiterate: According to Foster, this team doesn’t have a player or players that can go out and push the defense.

Don’t be mistaken.
The poster is right.
Pittsburgh has invested a lot of resources into this offensive line, but it hasn’t yielded any real results.
A lot of that is because the Steelers didn’t focus on getting a player who could play at the level of physicality that we saw while Foster was there.
